Head Instructor:

Willi Lindner is an experienced soccer player and coach. He played for the University of Washington and in the semiprofessional Pacific Coast League, at the time, the highest level available to players in the United States. Willi has over 30 years of coaching experience. He has coached at collegiate, adult, and youth levels including:

  • Assistant Head Coach at Evergreen State College men's team
  • Goalkeeper coach at Pacific Lutheran College men's team
  • Goalkeeper coach at Pacific Lutheran College women's team
  • Coached an adult women's team
  • Coached a 1st division men's team
  • Coached an "over-30's" men's team
  • Coached Youth Olympic Development Programs
  • Coached Modified Soccer for ages 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9
  • Coached goalkeeping at high school level
  • Coached for many premiere youth soccer clubs. He was a founding member and longtime goalkeeper coach for the HEAT Soccer Club. He also coached for the FC Marauders and Club Dosveedanya.
  • Currently coaches the Bellevue High School Boys goalkeepers, Magnolia Juventus Extreme, Shoreline Saturn and the Bainbridge Youth Soccer Club as well as the Bainbridge Soccer Acedemy.

In addition to helping out various youth soccer clubs in the area, he also offers coaching clinics, team clinics, and player clinics. Through his Safe Hands Goalkeeping program he offers intensive weekly goalkeeper training to highly motivated U10-U19 goalkeepers.

Willi uses his vast soccer knowledge to challenge, motivate, and educate his students. His training philosophy is to set high technical and performance standards, so each student can achieve their personal goals. All of this is accomplished in a disciplined, yet fun, training environment.
